MISSY DANIELS

Minister E. Missy Daniels is a native of Washington, DC.  She was licensed to preach the gospel in November 2000. Professionally, she is is a public relations professional of over 30 years.   She is currently employed as programs manager for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization of over 300,000 members. She has been a member of the organization for 34 years. She is also a public relations consultant to other organizations and worked as a regional field director in North Carolina for the 2012 Presidential election.  She previously served as a Vice President for Walls Communications, a leading public relations firm in Washington, DC for twelve years. She has also served as a publicist/manager for various gospel artists.

For five years, Min. Daniels served as the director of administrative operations for the Historic Metropolitan Baptist Church of Largo, Maryland in which she has been a member for 30 years and is an associate minister. She also served as a public relations consultant from 2000-2007, leading focus groups and community relations efforts as the church made plans to transition from Washington, DC to Largo, Maryland community. She currently leads the public relations team where she helps to coordinate the church’s community engagement efforts.

Min. Daniels served as a Chaplain- in- Residence at Georgetown University for 10 years. She currently serves as a chaplain for the WNBA New York Liberty Team and was recently selected to be a part of the volunteer Chaplain team for the new Prince Georges Community Hospital opening in 2021.

She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has attended Wesley Theological Seminary.
